Capcom Teases June 6, 2019 Announcements When Discussing E3 2019 Plans

On the Capcom-Unity blog, Capcom revealed its E3 2019 plans. However, it also pointed out something interesting. In addition to mentioning upcoming updates, it specifically noted that Capcom will have news on June 6, 2019. As a reminder, the Google Stadia Connect is going to be held on June 6, 2019.

 

Capcom does not specifically mention its updates will have anything to do with the Stadia event. However, Google did specifically mention that the point of the Stadia Connect will be to bring up games that will be available via the service. As a reminder, Capcom does have PC versions of recent releases like Monster Hunter World, Devil May Cry 5, and Resident Evil 2. Monster Hunter World: Iceborne seems likely to make an appearance, since the Capcom E3 2019 Live Stage schedule says more information on one stream will come on June 6, 2019.

In addition to the June 6, 2019 reveal, all of Capcom’s E3 plans have been laid out. the company will have a booth at the event, with Monster Hunter World: Iceborne “Hunt a Banbaro” and “Hunt a Tigrex” multiplayer demo missions. It will also have a live stage event, which will be streamed. There will also be poster signings for Street Fighter and Monster Hunter World: Iceborne by Yoshinori Ono, Street Fighter’s Executive Producer, Ryozo Tsujimoto, Monster Hunter World’s Producer, and Kaname Fujioka, Monster Hunter World’s Executive Director, at certain times June 11-13, 2019.

The Google Stadia Connect event will be held at 9am PT/12am ET/6pm CEST on June 6, 2019. E3 2019 will be held June 11-13, 2019.
