Bloodstained: Ritual Of The Night Nintendo Switch Performance Patch Will Now ‘Likely’ Be Released As One Patch

The official Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night Kickstarter page has issued an update on the status of the Nintendo Switch version’s performance updates designed to help the game run better. Instead of releasing gradually, with updates rolled out in multiple patches, it is now looking like it could be doled out in one patch.

In the update, it noted that the Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night Nintendo Switch version is “getting the bulk of dev time” at the moment, with WayForward and the Epic/Unreal team working to help make the game run better. As for why it could be in one patch, instead of bit by bit as we have seen so far, this is to help hopefully get things done quicker and through the submission process faster.

Most recently, the Nintendo Switch version of Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night received a balance update on August 1, 2019. This fixed bugs like items being stuck on walls and being trapped in water. It also decreased the power on some Shards, nerfed some familiars like Dullhammerhead, increased the power of weapon techniques like Crimson Storm, Force Blast, and Sansetsuzan, changed the Flame Cannon crafting recipe, altered the Simians Monster Fur drop rate, and adjusted the Dulahammer Head, Malediction, Gremory, Orobas, and Valefor enemies and bosses.

Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night is available for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
