As expected, the 4.4 Honkai: Star Rail update begins with the continuation of the Planarcadia Trailblaze Mission storyline that also goes into Himiko’s backstory. Her Nova five-star Erudition Fire element alt will show up the day the patch and story drop. The rerun banner for that period will feature the Dan Heng Permansor Terrae alt, the March 7th Evernight alt, and the Sparxie Sparkle alt.

When July 24, 2026 rolls around, the Fate/stay Night Honkai: Star Rail crossover returns with the event and five-star Rin Tohsaka and Gilgamesh banners. While she’ll only be available that way, we’ll be able to choose to get either a free Archer or Gilgamesh.

Finally, once the halfway point of the update arrives, three more characters will return. These will be the reruns of Anaxa, Cerydra, and Aventurine.
