All the Dendro characters in Genshin Impact

As mentioned earlier, though there were always Dendro enemies in the game, Dendro playable characters are relatively new. They only debuted in Version 3.0 when players got access to Sumeru. Dendro on its own can’t do much, but its true worth shines in its array of Elemental Reactions. Quicken and Bloom, as well as all of their variants, are powerful reactions with plenty of characters to facilitate and boost them.

As of Version 4.3, there are only eight playable Dendro characters in Genshin Impact. However, this element will likely start getting more options as the game continues. In saying that though, there aren’t any upcoming Dendro characters in the foreseeable future.

Here is a list of all the Dendro characters, their rarities, and their weapons of choice:

  • Alhaitham (5-star Sword)
  • Baizhu (5-star Catalyst)
  • Collei (4-star Bow)
  • Kaveh (4-star Claymore)
  • Kirara (4-star Sword)
  • Nahida (5-star Catalyst)
  • Tighnari (5-star Bow)
  • Yaoyao (4-star Polearm)

Who are the best Dendro characters in Genshin Impact?

Nahida is undoubtedly the best character in Genshin Impact. When she first came out in November 2022, she (and Yoimiya’s re-run) broke sales records for the game in China. She offers a huge EM bonus, has great Dendro application, and has a low-cost Burst with a wide AoE. Because of Dendro’s focus on Elemental Reactions, Nahida is the best of the bunch with how she can power up your Reactions.

Here are the best Dendro characters in Genshin Impact:

  • Nahida (SS)
  • Tighnari (S)
  • Alhaitham (A)
  • Baizhu (A)
  • Kirara (A)

While characters like Nahida and Tighnari are fantastic for Dendro Reactions, characters like Alhaitham show that Dendro can stand well enough on its own. Baizhu and Kirara are also fantastic for general support. Baizhu is a great healer and Kirara is a fantastic shielder option for those who don’t have Zhongli.

Genshin Impact is readily available on the PS4, PS5, Windows PC, and mobile devices.
