The color scheme of the picture, as well as the unique alternating usage of bold text, matched the logo for Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World-. At the time, however, it did not state what characters would appear for this collaboration. Previous events for Goddess of Victory: Nikke, such as with NieR Automata and Chainsaw Man, only added female characters though. So playing as Subaru in this was never in the cards.
