Splatoon 3 Water Gun Looks Like a Splat Brella

Sun Art announced that it worked with Nintendo to create two Splatoon 3 water guns, with each of the pistols looking like the Splat Brella from the game. These will be available in blue or yellow color schemes. Each one will cost 3,278円 (~$23).

As in Splatoon 3, these Splat Brella water guns can be used offensively or defensively. They can also be easily transported by folding them up like a regular umbrella. Once unfurled, you can use the umbrella part as coverage to protect yourself from the water other people are shooting. The reservoir of water is stored in a pouch on a user’s back that looks like an Inkling or Octoling ink tank.

This isn’t the only time we’ve seen a Splatoon series weapon turned into a real-world water gun, as water pistols based on the Splatterscope and Splattershot release in Japan. The Nintendo Store itself even sold them. In the US, Jakks also released some like a Splattershot Blaster. We’ve also seen fans make their own real-world relicas.

Splatoon 3 is available on the Nintendo Switch, and the Splat Brella water guns will be sold in Japan at the end of April 2025.
