Akai Haato has been on hiatus since October 2025, as Cover announced the Hololive Vtuber would taking a health-related break for an unspecified amount of time for recovery purposes. While there is no return date yet, her manager shared some YouTube shorts of her performing to “Fujiyama Charisma” and “Oshare Banchou.” She’s been part of the company since June 2018, and she joined alongside folks like Aki Rosenthal, Natsuiro Matsuri, Shirakami Fubuki, and Yozora Mel. It’s unknown when she will return to regular streaming activities, or if we could end up seeing more YouTube Shorts and song covers online ahead of a more definitive update.
