A collaboration between Pokemon and Komeda’s Coffee will begin in Japan on March 5, 2026. Ditto-inspired menu items will appear as part of the first part of this campaign. [Thanks, Famitsu!]
The three menu items that will be part of this campaign are:
- Mentaiko Ebikatsu Bread
- Osatu Balls
- Shiro-Noir Blueberry Fromage
All the items will have a little Ditto pick, making it seem like the Pokemon is hanging out with you while you’re eating at Komeda’s Coffee. We can see on the official website for the collaboration that the next batch of menu items will also feature picks, but of Pokemon like Dragonite and Drifloon.
Komaeda’s Coffee Okagean will also have a special version of its shrimp tsuke-kishimen that will feature Ditto. If you order any of the above items during the collaboration period, you can receive a free charm that looks like a bag of sweets with pictures of Ditto and a pal on it. There are four variations, and you won’t be able to choose which one you want.
At the store, you’ll also be able to buy a container that resembles a miniature round reusable bottle from Komeda’s. It features Pokemon like Ditto, Lapras, and Squirtle, and it comes with a light purple lid. It’s likely that the plastic isn’t food-safe, as Komeda’s warns that this container isn’t usable as a bottle. You can use it to hold items like pens, collectibles, and more. The container will cost 2000 JPY, which converts to $12.75.

Pokemon Pokopia will come out on March 5, 2026 for the Switch 2. That’s also when the Pokemon collaboration at Komeda’s Coffee in Japan will start. The second half, which will feature new menu items and picks, will start on April 9, 2026.
