Nippon Ichi Software (NIS) shared more information on new and upcoming games, with three of the newest updates being a new installment in The Witch and the Hundred Knight series and the original titles Gobble and Prinny Sugoroku. Everything came up during the March 11, 2026 Nippon Ichi Software Untitled stream on YouTube.
Prinny Sugoroku is a new upcoming game connected to the Disgaea series. This is a party game that will come out in Fall 2026 for the PS5, Switch, Switch 2, and PC. According to the description, it’ll be a crazy experience that’ll flip the concept of sugoroku on its head. As a refresher, that is a type of board game along the lines of Mario Party and Dokapon Kingdom.
Another big announcement involved the release date for Gobble. It’ll come out on September 24, 2026. During the stream, NIS showed off the first promotional video for this game, and you can watch it here:
Another announcement involved Nippon Ichi PC Games. This is a Nippon Ichi Software-exclusive application, allowing you to play games from your PC after purchasing them via its online shop. It’s basically a launcher for the company’s titles. For example, if people don’t want to or can’t get the game via Steam, they can use this. It will also add older games, with The Liar Princess and the Blind Prince being the first addition. The game is also available (with a discounted price) on Steam.
Here are all the games that showed up during the stream. Note that all dates apply to Japanese debuts.
- Curse Warrior (Switch, PS4, PS5). Demo available in Japan on March 12, 2026. Release date is March 26, 2026.
- Gobble (Switch, Switch 2, PS5, PC). Release date is September 24, 2026.
- Honogurashi no Niwa (Switch, Switch 2, PS5, PC). Release date is July 30, 2026.
- Prinny Sugoroku (Switch, Switch 2, PS5, PC). Release date falls in Autumn 2026.
- Shinigami Hime to Ishokan no Kaibutsu (Switch, Switch 2, PS5). Demo in development. Release date is April 30, 2026.
- The Witch and the Hundred Knight new entry (Android, iOS). Release date TBD.
- Yomawari 3 (PS5). Release date is March 12, 2026.
