The company initially revealed the crossover on April 1, 2026. However, this announcement turned out to be completely legit. This is not the first time it has happened, as the Digimon crossover in Medabots S was originally revealed as an April Fool’s Day joke before it became an actual in-game event.

This crossover primarily features Gourai Kai, Stiletto, Baselard, and Hresvelg. The new Medabots inspired by these characters are respectively named Goutenraizer, Sticoletto, Baselarbunny, and Hresvelgr.

A trailer summarizing the new crossover content is also available on the Medabots franchise’s official Japanese YouTube channel:

Both Medabots S and Frame Arms Girl have seen numerous crossovers before the two franchises collaborated with each other. Besides Digimon, Medabots S had also featured crossovers with other franchises like Evangelion, Mega Man, and Zoids. Meanwhile, Frame Arms Girl—along with its brother franchise Frame Arms—have also appeared in Sega’s Phantasy Star Online 2 and New Genesis.

Medabots S is available for iOS and Android mobile devices in Japan. The Frame Arms Girl crossover event is now available in the mobile game for a limited time.
