Hobonichi has revealed that it is working with the apparel brand Warehouse to produce and sell new Border T-shirts designed after the Earthbound and Mother series. The former will also open pre-orders for these shirts on its Japanese web store soon.
The shirts revealed in this announcement will take particular inspirations from the Earthbound protagonist Ness and Mother 3‘s Lucas and Claus. Hobonichi notes that the first Mother entry, which was localized in English as Earthbound Beginnings, is yet to be represented in this lineup, although it may consider adding the title in the future.
All three shirt designs will have four adult sizes from S to XL available with the same price tag of ¥9,900 (~$62.60). The Ness shirt will be the only one to have an additional kids’ size available at ¥6,050 (~$38.25).

A lot of Earthbound and Mother-themed merchandise appeared in 2024 when the series had its 30th anniversary. The items ranged from a soft vinyl toy of Ness to a real-world version of the Cup of Lifenoodles.
Pre-orders for the Earthbound and Mother series-themed Warehouse Border T-shirts will open on the Japanese Mother series web store on April 10, 2026.
