HoYoVerse’s 4.3 Special Program stream confirmed the Honkai: Star Rail The Lethe Below the Living update arrives on June 1, 2026, and it brings the new five-star Mortenax Blade character and more of Planarcadia’s story. The presentation also announced a number of crossovers, like a second part of the Fate/Stay Night: Unlimited Blade Works event, new UGREEN items with Yao Guang, and an upcoming Kura Sushi event in the US. People can also redeem the codes “CA395VK8ULCP,” “EB395CJ8V5XF,” and “YT295D38DLEB” on May 23, 2026 for free Primogems.
The Planarcadia storyline in 4.3 seems to focus on revealing truths about Himeko and her ties to the area. It also involves the World in Canvas and Stellaron hunters like Blade, with the new Mortenax Blade featuring prominently as a major character there. Lord Ravager Asat Pramad will also come up.
As such, this new version of Blade that is a five-star Nihility character that uses fire to attack will be the only new character in Honkai: Star Rail 4.3. If you get him, you’ll get a Trailblaze Outfit for Caelus or Stelle called Karmic Fire of the Distant Shore. He’ll appear alongside a rerun of the five-star Elation unit Yao Guang, who debuted in 4.0. The second part of the update will mark the return of the Chrysos Heirs five-star units Cyrene and Phainon.

We also have an idea of what to expect in the future from Honkai: Star Rail updates, as there’ll be a new Himeko alt and a second part to the Fate/Stay Night: Unlimited Blade Works crossover. She’ll be called Himeko Nova and is a five-star Erudition unit that deals fire damage. She’ll be joined by two more five-stars, the Destruction Lightning Servant Gilgamesh and Erudition Quantum Mage Rin Tohsaka.
Honkai: Star Rail is available on the PS5, PC, and mobile devices, and the 4.3 update arrives on June 1, 2026.
