While the Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo sequel manga volumes are already out in Japan, Viz Media only just confirmed the release window for volume 1 in English. It will share it in Spring 2027. There’s no exact release date for it yet, however. All chapters from the series are available in English both on Manga Plus and through Viz. As a reminder, this company also handled the English release of the original manga.
In this follow-up set almost 70 years after the events of the original Jujutsu Kaisen, we see aliens with the same abilities as Jujutsu sorcerers head to earth. Their representative Marulu “Maru” Val Vol Yelvori works and trains alongside Yuka and Tsurugi Okkotsu, the grandchildren of Yuta Okkotsu and Maki Zen’in. However, while this was hopefully a peaceful exchange and opportunity to grow, a new conflict kicks off after the aliens’ arrival.
This sequel ended up being a rather short series. It kicked off in September 2025, then ended with chapter 26 in March 2026. All three volumes of the Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo manga are already available in Japan ahead of its English debut. The last one showed up in May 2026, and Mappa even made an anime short in honor of its release. (That studio is currently working on the Jujutsu Kaisen anime adaptation.)
Volume 1 of the Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo manga will appear in English in Spring 2027.
