Shueisha used the official Kagurabachi social media account to confirm the manga hiatus will end on July 27, 2026. Chapter 126 will appear in Weekly Shonen Jump issue 35 and on official sites on that date. Both Manga Plus and Viz Media offer simulpub releases, but neither one shared the updated launch window for the new chapter yet. This also comes right ahead of volume 8 of the English adaptation of the manga launching on August 4, 2026.

This current Kagurabachi hiatus started back on June 29, 2026. The reason cited for it was Takeru Hokazono needed to take some time off to rest, to ensure he would be able to continue at his current pace. The last published chapter was 125, which dealt with the Datenseki and Chihiro Rokuhira working with Subaru Urita. It ended on a cliffhanger.
