Square Enix announced there will be FFVII Revelation DLC in the form of a Story Expansions that consist of both Sephiroth and Vincent & the Turks add-ons. These will be apparently available alone or in a Story Expansion Pack and follow in the month’s after the JRPG’s April 2027 release. The Steam page is already live for it.
There are few details about either of these add-ons. Only generalities like names and release windows appeared. We know that there will be a Sephiroth story expansion and Vincent & the Turks storyline, presumably with both characters as the focus. It’s unknown if this could tap into past games’ storylines like The First Soldier storyline for the villain from FFVII Ever Crisis or Dirge of Cerberus: FFVII. We also know the expected launch window is between Winter 2027 and Spring 2028, with the Sephioroth one launching first.
However, we do know people will get a Reclaimant Choker & Survival Set with the Story Expansion Pack purchase. That will be available on April 8, 2026, when the game launches. It gives us an accessory that will restore the health of the character who wears it whenever they defeat a foe and a set of single-use items like recovery stuff.
Final Fantasy VII Revelation will come to the Switch 2, PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC on April 8, 2027. The Sephiroth and Vincent & the Turks Story Expansions FFVII Revelation DLC packs will show up between Winter 2027 and Spring 2028.
