Atlus teased the debut of Persona 3 Portable heroine and female protagonist Kotone Shiomi for Persona 5: The Phantom X back in July 2026, and now she got a release date. We’ll see the character, who is completely new and not one previously available in the Chinese release, on September 24, 2026. She’ll be part of the 4.10 update and be accompanied by an event tied to her game. However, we’ll know more on September 21, 2026, when the X-Stream for the new version appears.
We don’t know what role Kotone will be in or what her signature element will be when she joins the roster. The other protagonist from that game, Makoto Yuki, is an Assassin who deals Fire damage. It’s safe to assume she’ll also be a five-star unit like the other Persona 3 characters who joined the game, as none of those crossover units have been four-stars. When she does appear, new music arrangements will show up.
Here’s the first animated teaser trailer for Kotone Shiomi from Persona 3 Portable for Persona 5: The Phantom X. While we first see Wonder, the protagonist for this mobile and PC game, she then takes center stage.
In honor of the other Persona 3 Portable femaleprotagonist joining Persona 5: The Phantom X, past characters from the game are back in rerun banners. People once again can get Akihiko Sanada, Makoto Yuki, and Yukari Takeba. All three are five-star units. Makoto’s rerun ends on June 26, 2027. Akihiko and Yukari will both be around until November 2027. He’s a Sweeper who deals Electric damage, while she’s a Medic dealing Wind damage.
Persona 5: The Phantom X is on PCs and mobile devices and gets Persona 3 Portable heroine Kotone Shiomi as a playable character when the protagonist’s banner appears alongside 4.10 on September 24, 2026.
