Ward Off Zombie Hordes In Multiplayer 2D Shooter Metal Assault

You might know Aeria Games as the publisher Shin Megami Tensei: Imagine and Hello Kitty Online. The company deals primarily in free-to-play online multiplayer games for the PC. Recently, they caught our attention with another one of their upcoming titles, slated for a closed beta release this spring.

Titled Metal Assault, this is a side-scrolling 2D online multiplayer shooter with both co-operative and player vs. player modes. The co-op mode has you warding off a horde of zombies with the help of your friends. Metal Assault also lets you upgrade your equipment, buy and sell items by setting up your own shop, and trade items directly with other players.

Developed by GNI Soft, the game comes with four character classes, which you can learn about here. Additionally, you’ll also be able to drive around in vehicles like tanks, choppers and robot suits. If you’re interested, you can sign up for the closed beta at that same site and be notified when Aeria begin beta-testing.
