Square Enix announced today that they’ll be handling distribution for Dead Island in the U.S., and it sounds like they’ll be responsible for marketing it, too. Interestingly, Deep Silver are owned by Koch Media, who distribute Square Enix and Eidos games in certain European territories like Germany.

Dead Island is being prepared for an Xbox 360, PC and PlayStation 3 release this year.
