Konami Bringing More Of Their Brands To Social Games, Hudson Leading The Way

Metal Gear Social, anyone? In the next year, you’ll see more Konami IPs pop up in social games. One of Konami’s goals is to further focus on this market and Hudson has been assigned to use their network expertise for this purpose.

Earlier this year, Konami fully acquired Hudson and shut down their U.S. division, Hudson Entertainment. Hudson’s legacy includes Adventure Island, Bloody Roar, Bonk, and of course Bomberman. As an aside, in addition to whatever else they’re working on, Hudson recently developed something called Nightmare Dinosaur, which Konami will publish in Australia.
