Ifrit Turns Up The Heat In Final Fantasy XIV

Final Fantasy XIV patch 1.19 is slated for release on October 4th. The patch will add an additional 100 item slots per character, and 50 item slots per retainer. Those are just two of the many changes the team has been implementing. Another addition is an Ifrit battle. Producer, Naoki Yoshida, released a video of this, which you can watch below:

Patch 1.19 will also add Chocobos and airships to the game, as well as a caravan escort system. The full set of patch notes for patch 1.19 will be available later this week.
