Kojima’s Project Ogre To Be “Free” Rather Than “Cinematic”

Recommended Videos

"The kind of game I’m making is some game that has a very wide entrance, a very open entrance," Metal Gear Solid creator, Hideo Kojima, said to CNN in an interview last week. In this case, however, Kojima wasnā€™t talking about Metal Gear — he was referring to Project Ogre, which is his next original title.

"Rather than making something very cinematic, [I plan to] make something very free," Kojima shared. This is the first time weā€™ve heard Kojima say anything of the sort about Project Ogre, although he did tweet two screenshots of the game last week, showing off Kojima Productionsā€™ Fox Engine, which is being used for development.

Project Ogre doesnā€™t have a release date attached to it yet. In fact, thereā€™s very little that we actually know about the game.
