The Pokémon Company have sent out a New Year’s card in Japan, posted via Japanese magazine, Famitsu, Serebii.net reports. The card states that Pokémon Co. intend to release “even more amazing games” in 2012 than in 2011.
2011 saw the release of four Pokémon titles in Japan: Pokémon Typing DS, Pokédex 3D, Pokémon Rumble Blast and PokéPark 2: Wonders Beyond. I’m not sure if they count Pokémon le Tap on iOS as one of their 2011 titles.
We know what at least one of these 2012 games will be. Recently, The Pokémon Company announced a crossover title, Pokémon + Nobunaga’s Ambition, for the Nintendo DS. It’s slated for release in spring.
