LovePlus may not be flying out of Japan any time soon, but the mobile phone market has its own makeshift solutions in place, in the form of My Virtual Boyfriend and My Virtual Girlfriend. Like LovePlus, both games feature different guys or girls to date, and the goal is to eventually make them fall in love with you.
The two games a step further and make their characters customizable. Since there isn’t as much emphasis on mascot characters as there is in LovePlus, you can change their face, hair, skin and even name. There’s a total of five personality types in each game to choose from.
The standout feature, however, is zombie boyfriends or girlfriends:
