Retro City Rampage, a retro parody of older games as well as Grand Theft Auto, was already announced for Xbox Live Arcade, PC and WiiWare. This morning, developer, Brian Provinciano, shared on the PlayStation blog that it will be hitting the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita as well.
Retro City Rampage is an open-world crime game with visuals meant to replicate older games and a top-down view similar to the original Grand Theft Auto. Provinciano says that, despite attempting to emulate the look and feel of older games, Retro City Rampage will cover every genre from adventure to stealth to platforming to rhythm.
Retro City Rampage is slated for release this year.
