Prince of Persia creator Jordan Mechner’s famous adventure game, The Last Express, is headed to the iPhone. Originally released for the PC in 1997, the point-and-click adventure game will be released “soon” for the iPhone and iPad by French publisher, DotEmu.
The Last Express takes place in 1914, prior to World War I, aboard the Orient Express, and has you playing as an American doctor who is on the run from the French police for suspected murder. Initially boarding the Orient Express as a means of escape, you find yourself uncovering more conspiracies to contend with.
Also headed to the iOS platforms is Relentless: Twinsen’s Adventure. This game has you playing as Twinsen, a hero living on the Island of the Citadel, and fighting against the dictatorship of its ruler, Dr. FunFrock.
Relentless: Twinsen’s Adventure will be released in fall 2012.
