Senran Kagura Anime Trailer; Being Directed By Shakugan no Shana Director

Marvelous AQL updated the official website for the upcoming Senran Kagura anime series this week, providing a proper look at the first trailer for the show, along with information on the staff and studio involved. Here’s the trailer, for starters:

The Senran Kagura anime series is being produced by the Artland animation studio. Artland are a subsidiary of Marvelous AQL, and are known for their work on the Katekyo Hitman Reborn! TV series. The anime series will be directed by Takahashi Watanabe, who has worked on Shakugan no Shana and the Slayers series, among other TV animation projects.

 

The Senran Kagura TV anime will begin airing in Japan in 2013.
