Capcom have shared new footage of Resident Evil 6 tonight, focusing on new character, Jake, along with his partner, Sherry Birkin. You can watch the footage below, which stars out with Jake and Sherry in a cabin, trying to hold off a group of soldiers and zombies:
Resident Evil 6 will also tie in with an online service called ResidentEvil.net This site will will track data pulled from your game, such as proficiency with weapons, types of enemies killed or your score in Mercenaries mode, and compare it to the stats of other players. Capcom say they will also use the site to schedule online events and competitions that will net you in-game rewards.
Resident Evil 6 will be released on October 2nd in North America for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. A PC release will follow at a later date.
