Marvel have been teasing a high-profile mobile game for the last few weeks, involving the Avengers. Today, we know what it is, as the game is now available for purchase on iOS devices.
Titled Avengers Initiative, this is an ongoing series of games starring the Avengers, and the first episode allows you to play as the Hulk. The story goes that S.H.I.E.L.D.’s containment facility, the Vault, has been opened, and all of the super-villains held within freed. While Nick Fury attempts to gather the rest of the Avengers, he sends a reluctant Hulk to deal with the escaped villains.
Like Infinity Blade, Episode 1 of Avengers Initiative has swipe controls for landing damage. Along the way, you also get to upgrade Hulk’s states, acquire new abilities, and earn costumes for him to wear as well.
Avengers Initiative is out now and costs $6.99. The game is out now for iOS devices, and is also headed to Android.
