Doujin game publisher, Nyu Media, recently announced the second slate of doujin titles that they’ll be publishing in English, and one of them is being released this week—Eryi’s Action, a 2D platformer developed by Xtal Sword.
Eryi’s Action puts you in the shoes of Eryi, who sets out for revenge after someone eats this melon she’d been looking forward to eating, and leaves a note letting her know, in its place. The game has 12 stages, and Nyu Media also say that, while Eryi’s Action is meant to be tough, it has an autosave function that will make repeated failures more tolerable.
Eryi’s Action will be released for PC via GamersGate, Desura.com, and EryisAction.com, and will cost $4.99. You can watch a trailer for it above and try a demo out here.
Nyu Media also mention that this is the “first game” they are publishing without the aid of Capcom, who they partnered with to publish their previous titles. Eryi’s Action is also not guaranteed to be a Steam release, but is up on Steam Greenlight for up-voting. Should the game be released on Steam, that version will have 32 achievements.
