Star Trek The Video Game Boldly Releases In April 2013

Namco Bandai’s Star Trek game has a release date—April 23rd, 2013. The game will be available on PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

 

Star Trek is developed by Digital Extremes and lets you play as Kirk and Spock. You can read our hands-on impressions of the game from earlier in the year here.

 

Pre-ordering Star Trek will get you access to the “Elite Officer Pack”. This will include the following items:

 

  • Stealth Pack – Kirk and Spock stealth uniforms, plus Starfleet Type IV Stealth Sniper Rifle and extra ammo
  • Brawler Pack – Kirk leather jacket costume and Spock Vulcan Science Academy costume
  • Kelvin Pack – Kirk and Spock U.S.S. Kelvin uniforms, plus U.S.S. Kelvin Hand Phaser
  • Academy Pack – Kirk Academy Uniform, Spock Officer Dress Uniform, plus Academy Phaser
  • Kobayashi Maru Pack – Kirk and Spock Kobayashi Maru uniforms
