Fueling the Marvel vs. Capcom 2 PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 port fire is a retail listing for a pair of arcade sticks. UK retailer ShopTo.Net has Xbox 360 and PS3 Marvel vs. Capcom tournament sticks scheduled to ship in July (thanks for the tip Adam!!).

The sticks are reportedly made by MadCatz who has worked with other Capcom licenses like Street Fighter IV and more recently Resident Evil 5. Accessories with Marvel vs. Capcom 2 art is a strange way to confirm a port, but the game was also rated by the ESRB last year.
While still unofficial, it seems more and more likely that Marvel vs. Capcom 2 will come out this year.
