“Good News” About Ikaruga Coming Soon Say Treasure

Treasure, the developers of the Sin & Punishment games, Ikaruga, and now Gaist Crusher, recently set up a Twitter account in Japan. This morning, the studio made its first English tweet:

Good news about Ikaruga? A re-release of the game on a different platform, perhaps? As far as modern-day platforms are concerned, Ikaruga is already available on Xbox 360 and Android platforms.

Ikaruga is a shoot-em-up originally release for arcades and the Sega Dreamcast. The game was later ported to the Nintendo Gamecube as well. We’ll have more to report as Treasure announce further details.
