Metal Gear Rising’s Offline Play Bug On PC Has Been Fixed

Recommended Videos

A region lock wasn’t the only issue Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance was suffering from, when it was released on PC yesterday. Following its release, players complained to Konami that the game required an Internet connection to be played.

This issue was allegedly a bug, according to Konami and PlatinumGames, who stated over Twitter that they were working on a fix to resolve the problem.

That fix is now complete, or should be very soon, if it isn’t already. PlatinumGames’ J.P. Kellams tweeted this morning: “Online bug should be fixed and you should be able to play offline now with no issues or in the *very* near future. Thanks to @konami!”
