Konami are dropping the price of the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes by $10/ā¬10/Ā£10, the publisher announced this morning.
The price cut will affect the retail versions of Ground Zeroes on the two platforms. This means that the retail version will drop from $39.99/ā¬39.99/Ā£39.99 to $29.99/ā¬29.99/Ā£29.99Ā , bringing the game’s price in line with the retail PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions of the game.
Konami stated in a press release that the goal of the price drop is to āprovide as many people as possible an opportunity to experience Kojima Productionsā FOX Engine and the first installment in the two-part Metal Gear Solid V experienceā.
Additionally, Konami revealed that players who buy the first run of Ground Zeroes copies will be given exclusive content in Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, in the form of āadditional resourcesā for their Mother Base. (This offer also pertains to the download version of Ground Zeroes for a limited time.)
Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes will be available in March for Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4.
