New Fate/Stay Night Anime Will See Original Voice Actors Return

The official website for the new Fate/Stay Night anime series by ufotable has been updated with a list of the show’s production staff. Judging by the list, it looks like most of the original voice actors behind the major characters will be returning to their roles.

 

Here’s the list of main characters with their voice-actors:

 

  • Shirou Emiya: Noriaki Sugiyama
  • Saber: Ayako Kawasumi
  • Rin Tohsaka: Kana Ueda
  • Archer: Junichi Suwabe
  • Sakura Matou: Noriko Shitaya
  • Illyasviel von Einzbern: Mai Kadowaki
  • Lancer: Nobutoshi Canna
  • Taiga Fujimara: Miki Itou
  • Kirei Kotomine: Jouji Nakata
  • Kiritsugu Emiya: Rikiya Koyama

 

The series will be directed by Fate/Zero anime director Takahiro Miura. Character design will be handled by Tomonori Sudou, Hisayuki Tabata and Atsushi Ikariya. As detailed in a prior report, the production staff are working closely with Type-Moon’s Kinoko Nasu, who has been present every time the show’s writers meet, to provide background information, which will be incorporated into the series.

 

Nasu himself stated that viewers would like be seeing “a different side” of the Fate/Stay Night saga when the show begins airing this fall.
