There May Be A Glimmer Of Hope For Final Fantasy XIV’s “Favour” System After All

While Square Enix’s “Favour” system for Final Fantasy XIV: A Real Reborn was an April Fools’ joke, Bayohne of the game’s community team writes on the development blog notes that he understands fans wanted it to be real.

“I know, I know. I wanted it to be real, too,” Bayohne says. “Fans of the system…don’t worry! I’ve set some time aside with the team to discuss my feelings and to beg for it to become a reality. If there are enough burning requests for it, maybe [producer] Yoshi-P will…?”

The Favour system was described as something that would incorporate elements of dating-sims into Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn. You can read more about it here.
