Raiden Joins Mortal Kombat X

NetherRealm Studios have announced another character that will be in Mortal Kombat X—Raiden, the god of thunder. The character was announced this afternoon after the Injustice: Gods Among Us finals concluded at EVO 2014.

 

Raiden has three variations—Thunder God (with Electrocution Combos), Displacer (with a focus Teleportation moves) and Storm Lord (with Lightning Traps).

 

Mortal Kombat X will be released on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 in 2015. You can watch a trailer for Raiden above, courtesy MKIceAndFire, who captured it off the EVO stream.
