The Pokémon Company has released a Japanese trailer for Pokémon the Movie: Diancie and the Cocoon of Destruction. The movie is scheduled to premiere in Japan on July 19th, and focuses on an underground region known as the Diamond Domain.
Diancie, a mythical Pokémon, serves as the ruler of the Diamond Domain, which is home to a number of Carbink. When the Heart Diamond that sustains the land begins to fall apart, Diancie seeks out the aid of Xerneas in order to rectify the situation.
Along the way, it runs into a group of thieves that want Diancie’s power for themselves and inadvertently awaken Yveltal in the process.
Pokémon the Movie: Diancie and the Cocoon of Destruction doesn’t have a release date in North America, yet, but the movie was made available for licensing back in April, and The Pokémon Company says it’s “coming soon”.
