Robin’s New Ability In Super Smash Bros. Lets You Recover Health

Fire Emblem: Awakening’s Robin will have the first ability in Super Smash Bros. that lets you dish out damage while recovering health, director Masahiro Sakurai says.

On Miiverse, Sakurai posted: “Robin’s Nosferatu is the first ability in the Smash Bros. series that recovers your damage as it gives damage to others. The attack becomes even stronger if you strike from behind!”

He added: “Robin doesn’t actually use this ability in the original game, but we added that element to make the character unique. Who knows—the ideas we use in this game may contribute to the original series.”

Super Smash Bros. will be released for Nintendo 3DS this October and on Wii U sometime this holiday season.
