Ninja Theory Talk About How They Created The Gamescom Trailer For Hellblade

Ninja Theory have released their first developer diary for their upcoming action game, Hellblade, going over how they produced the CG trailer for the game that they showed off during Gamescom.

 

The goal, creative director Tameem Antoniades says, was to create the trailer using a “few hundred pounds” in a matter of weeks, and the video shows off how motion-capture work was put together for the game. It also hints at some of the mocap technology that Ninja Theory are experimenting with for the future.

 

Hellblade is being self-funded and self-published by Ninja Theory, and will debut on PlayStation 4, following which it will be made available on other platforms.
