Clannad May Get A Physical Edition For Non-Backers To Purchase As Well

If you want a physical copy of Sekai Project’s English Clannad release, the only way to guarantee you’ll get your hands on on is to back the publisher’s Kickstarter campaign. That said, Sekai say they’re currently discussing whether or not they’ll release physical editions of the game for regular consumers as well.

At present, the Clannad Kickstarter is over $450,000 in funding, with less than 48 hours to go before the campaign ends. In addition to the game, Sekai Project will also be translating the “Hikari Mimamoru Sakamichi de” side-stories, and releasing a new Clannad anthology manga.

A release date for Clannad has not yet been announced.
