Square Enix have shared a trailer for Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn patch 2.5. As mentioned in a past report, patch 2.5 kicks off the game’s finale, prior to a new story being introduced in Final Fantasy XIV: Heavensward.

Patch 2.5 contains around two-thirds of the finale’s story, and will be released on January 20th. You can find more details on what else it includes in this post.

Part 2 of the “Before the Fall” finale storyline will be released sometime near the end of March. Prior to that, Square Enix will release patch 2.51, which will contain the Gold Saucer with playable mini-games.
