MangaGamer Licenses Myth, A Visual Novel In A World Without Shadows

In addition to the complete Higurashi: When They Cry story, MangaGamer has licensed doujin circle Circletempo’s Myth. The game has already been greenlit for release on Steam and will be available via the service sometime in the future.

Myth follows a protagonist who lives in the “world of light,” which is a world without shadows. He encounters a girl with a shadow and begins “exploring the darkness of another realm” with her. As you dig deeper, you discover more mysteries about the game’s world, which draws on Norse mythology.

Myth will be available both as an All-Ages title on Steam, as well as in its original adult form on MangaGamer’s website. A release date has not been announced yet, but you can watch a trailer for the game above.
