Oculus Rift To Be Released To Consumers In Q1 2016

The consumer version of the Oculus Rift will go on sale in Q1 2016, Oculus VR have announced. While the finer details of the device haven’t been revealed, Oculus claim it will be more comfortable to use than previous builds.

 

This version of the hardware will include “an improved tracking system that supports both seated and standing experiences, as well as a highly refined industrial design, and updated ergonomics for a more natural fit,” the company said on its blog.

 

Next week, Oculus say they will share more of the technical specs pertaining to the Rift, and in the weeks ahead, they will detail the hardware, software input, and unannounced VR games that are headed to the Rift.
