Hit smartphone game Rage of Bahamut is getting a second anime season, the animated series’ production staff announced at an orchestral concert in Japan. (Thanks, Anime News Network)
The first season of the anime, titled Rage of Bahamut: Genesis, premiered in Japan last year, and was streamed by Funimation, who have licensed it for the U.S. market. Meanwhile, earlier this year, Cygames, the developer of Rage of Bahamut, announced that it was opening a new anime production department.
This department, Cygames said, would work on existing properties owned by the company, as well as original animated shows.
