Age of Wulin Gets An Expansion Pack With New Content This Month

Chinese MMORPG Age of Wulin is getting a new expansion on June 16th, publisher Webzen announced this morning. Here’s an overview of what the expansion will add:

  • Lingxiao City, a new player battleground
  • Flower Prince competition
  • Partner System
  • New instance: Island of Delight.

As far as the new Lingxiao content is concerned, Webzen say players will be assigned a faction at random, between Snow Mountain Sanctuary, Valley of Frozen Souls or Blood Sabre Clan, and will either fight off invaders or become a defender of Lingxiao City.

Meanwhile, the Partner System allows players to build loyalty and befriend other characters choosing to do so. This new ally can then be summoned during battles and allows players to learn from their own Combat and Internal skills among the options.

Finally, the Island of Delight instance follows the events of the Silver Hook Sword Boat from the previous expansion, and is meant for seasoned players only.
