Street Fighter IV And Smash Bros. for Wii U Have The Most Entrants At EVO 2015

EVO showrunner Joey Cuellar has posted a breakdown of how many entrants each game at EVO 2015 has raked in. Naturally, Ultra Street Fighter IV is at #1, but Super Smash Bros. for Wii U occupies the #2 spot. Here’s a look at the list:

Recommended Videos

Ultra Street Fighter IV – 2,227

Super Smash Bros. for Wii U – 1,926

Super Smash Bros. Melee – 1,869

Mortal Kombat X – 1,162

Guilty Gear Xrd – 968

Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 – 816

Tekken 7 – 458

Persona 4 Arena Ultimax – 437

Killer Instinct – 397

It’s good to see so much interest in both Smash for Wii U, as well as Mortal Kombat X. It’s also interesting how Killer Instinct is actually lower on the scale than Persona 4, and how Tekken 7 isn’t much higher than either one.
