Earlier today, Sunrise revealed a new Mobile Suit Gundam anime series, titled Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans. Now, you can watch an English-language version of the series’ debut trailer above. (Thanks, Gundam.info)
Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans is set 300 years after a war between Mars and Earth. The series’ protagonists are Mikazuki Augus and Orga Itsuki. The two are part of a private security company named Chryse Guard Security, which accompanies a woman from Mars to Earth to argue for the independence of a city on Mars named Chryse.
Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans is being directed by Tatsuyuki Nagai (A Certain Scientific Railgun), with Mari Okada (Anohana, Canaan) writing the screenplay for the series. The new show will begin airing in Japan this October.
