MidBoss has released its cyberpunk point-and-click adventure game Read Only Memories for Windows, Mac, and Linux. You can purchase it for $14.99 on Steam, itch.io, and the Humble Store.
Set in Neo-San Francisco, Read Only Memories has you playing as a journalist who is joined by a ROM (Relationship and Organizational Manager) robot called Turing “as you uncover the city’s secrets behind the overlapping futures of technology and humanity.”
The game’s narrative is dynamic as it adapts to the choices that you make. The challenges and puzzles you come across while exploring the city are likewise non-linear and have multiple solutions.
Neo-San Francisco also has a whole cast of colorful characters to meet with over 10 hours of dialog that is voiced by varioius BAFTA-nominated actors.
