Arc System Works recently announced River City Ransom SP as a new Nintendo 3DS title as part of the series’ 30th anniversary next year, and Famitsu has followed up with a look at its first screenshots. 
River City Ransom SP isn’t a remake, but a “revamp” of the original game, featuring new events, abilities, combos, and combos.

The game also features a new system that will change the way it is played. River City Ransom SP will release in Japan on April 28, 2016 for Nintendo 3DS.
